Christmas Break

 Canyonville Christian Academy starts Christmas break on December 19th 2012 then starts back up again January 7th 2013.

Here at this Christian Academy, in the boys dorm, we are very excited about this!  During this long Christmas break students have the opportunity to go back home to their own country and relax hanging out with family and friends.

Being from many different countries, a lot of us students come from countries that do not celebrate Christmas, EVER!  So decorating the high school campus is a great experience for us students.  Helping to decorate for Christmas together is also something special. We all come from different cultures and religion, but we join together and decorate for Christmas, preparing the whole campus, which brings us together as one family.

On that note, I hope everyone will have a great Christmas Break!!!

Amazing Volleyball match at University of Oregon

A wonderful kill drives the whole crowd crazy.  October 13th, 2012 the Volleyball team of Canyonville Christian Academy went to the volleyball match between U of O and University of Washington in Eugene which is two hours north from Canyonville.

This game drew more than four thousand people to the matthew knight arena to cheer for the players(students who study at U of O) and like to watch the college level performances such as this.

First Month At Boarding School

In Canyonville Oregon, there is a Christian Academy where students come from all over the world to continue their high school journey.

September 3rd 2012 is the day when Canyonville Christian Academy’s new school year started!!  Althought this is my third year study at CCA, I can still feel the excitement of meeting and getting along with every new student from other countries.

This is my senior year, and I am also elected to be an ambassador this year for the school.  I know as a leader in the school who is also an example which everyone looks up to,  I commit that I will bring students on the right track and be both teachers and deans’ hands and feet for helping to solve most of the difficulties and challenges.

One month has already past, and I’m so happy that all students seem to be having a really good time with not only the school, but also their relationships (getting along with each other).  I am looking forward to keep this same atmosphere throughout the school year all the way to graduation day.  It is my goal for this year (this being my senior year) is to help and to lead students to a successful school year.

JSB is coming!

It’s THE BIG EVENT of 2012 for the Junior & Senior classes of Canyonville Christian Academy.

All the guys here at the christian academy are getting busy in inviting a girl to accompaning him to the JSB – A dressy special event that includes dinner and a movie is only for the Junior and Senior classes.  The girls are all excited, finding themselves a nice dress for the occasion.  What can be more exciting than this?

Track Meets Are Here!!!

The Third Meet In Riddle

Since track season started, our CCA track team at this Christian Academy has worked hard at every practice. Our third meet this year, is in Riddle today. We’re all thankful that today is a sunny warm day, and a good day for running!  Hope our team does great!

Spring Break Is Coming With Spirit Week And A Lot Of Activities!!!

Wow… the time passed so fast. Only few more days and everyone will leave CCA to enjoy Spring Break with their family and friends!

Just before Spring Break we had a lot of fun activities like Iron Chef, Table Tennis Tournament, Track and Spirit Week – During this week, we will talk alot of more about God and get closer to him… how exciting!

Right now everyone is getting excited for Spring Break. Some student will go back home, some will travel alone and some will stay with their friends or with a CCA teacher or staff member.

Me, I will go to Little Rock, AR to spend this break with my friend and her family, for sure  I’m gonna eat alot of Vietnamese food while staying at their house!!

Spiritual Week – Pajamas Day !!!:)

It’s Spiritual week here at CCA:D!!! We have Pajamas Day for the first day, everyone need to wear pajamas for the whole school day! It’s lucky that it was a warm and sunny day!

We have many different pajamas, we have one piece pink pajamas, blue with white dots and every other style you can think of. This is a really interesting week.

After the 5th period, everyone needed to design their group poster. We also need to design a door Banner! Everyone is giving their full attention to the posters:)

Christmas Party & Concert at CCA !!

Shaffer Dorm and Boon Hall had a Christmas Party in the Auditorium, on                             Sunday Dec, 11/2011. We have alot of fun activities and good food!!!!! We trade our Christmas Gift with each other, playing games, and have a nice meal with chicken, pizza, cheese cake, etc…. .

Good job to everyone on the Choir team, you guy were awesome last night!!! And only few      more day, everyone can enjoy the biggest break of the year with their                                     family & friends.

The Last Weekend Before Thanksgiving:)

This weekend is the last weekend before Thanksgiving. We’ve decorated the dorm last week, and we had lots of funny conversations. I swear the girls in the dorm are the best dorm mates ever!

The basketball season has started yesterday, and the cheer leading  started more early too! The girls dorm seems will be empty after school:P!!

Thanksgiving is coming, and I’ve received a e-mail about the Thanksgiving Trip. If you’re spending your thanksgiving holiday in the trip, you may be interested with it.

The trip for Thanksgiving will be going to the Great Wolf Lodge in Wa. It is a resort with and indoor water park.  We will also be going Go Karting, movies, Cosmic Bowling, shopping and out to some group dinners.   The trip includes lodging, all food, transportation and activity fees.  Spending money for shopping is extra.   If you want an actual day to day itinerary I can get that for you too.

Christmas is coming! Are You Ready??:D

It’s 11/11/11 today, what a special day! Anyway…have you decorated you house for Christmas yet? Well, We have!!! We spent about few hours to decorate our dorm. It’s a fun process decorating with your friends and deans. After we finish decorating, we had Christmas cookies and cupcake for snack:D It’s sooooo tasty!!! We all sat down and chat, eat, dance…What a crazy and warm night:)
