Christmas Break

christmas decorating, boarding school, christian academy, top international boarding school Canyonville Christian Academy starts Christmas break on December 19th 2012 then starts back up again January 7th 2013.

Here at this Christian Academy, in the boys dorm, we are very excited about this!  During this long Christmas break students have the opportunity to go back home to their own country and relax hanging out with family and friends.

Being from many different countries, a lot of us students come from countries that do not celebrate Christmas, EVER!  So decorating the high school campus is a great experience for us students.  Helping to decorate for Christmas together is also something special. We all come from different cultures and religion, but we join together and decorate for Christmas, preparing the whole campus, which brings us together as one family.

On that note, I hope everyone will have a great Christmas Break!!!

Have Fun!!

The End Of the First Quarter

The time we spend here at Canyonville Christian Academy seems to go by fast!  I can’t believe that the first quarter is ending today!

Students have done their assignments, read their textbooks and prepared for their tests in order to get GPA scores as high as they possibly can while also  learning to hold the attitude of finishing out strong!

In my senior year, everyday seems so precious and important to me.  The end of the first quarter also means I only have three quaters left of my high school year in my whole life!

This game drew more than four thousand people to the matthew knight arena to cheer for the players(students who study at U of O) and like to watch the college level performances such as this.

First Month At Boarding School

international school has different cultrueIn Canyonville Oregon, there is a Christian Academy where students come from all over the world to continue their high school journey.

September 3rd 2012 is the day when Canyonville Christian Academy’s new school year started!!  Althought this is my third year study at CCA, I can still feel the excitement of meeting and getting along with every new student from other countries.

This is my senior year, and I am also elected to be an ambassador this year for the school.  I know as a leader in the school who is also an example which everyone looks up to,  I commit that I will bring students on the right track and be both teachers and deans’ hands and feet for helping to solve most of the difficulties and challenges.

One month has already past, and I’m so happy that all students seem to be having a really good time with not only the school, but also their relationships (getting along with each other).  I am looking forward to keep this same atmosphere throughout the school year all the way to graduation day.  It is my goal for this year (this being my senior year) is to help and to lead students to a successful school year.

Preparing For PSAT Test !

Today is 10/11/2011… and we going to have PSAT test on Wednesday, but looks like everyone has really been relaxing with their time ( me too ) not stressing to much.

PSAT

-The PSAT gives high-school juniors a chance to qualify for National Merit Scholarship Corporation scholarship programs. It’s given once a year, in October, mostly to juniors and sophomores.

-Like the SAT, but Shorter

The PSAT is a little bit more than two hours long. It consists of two twenty-five minute Verbal sections, two twenty-five minute Math sections, and one half-hour Writing Skills section.

The PSAT is great practice for the SAT. Although it’s shorter than the SAT, the PSAT has all the question-types and tests much the same knowledge. Virtually all of the techniques and strategies that apply to the PSAT also apply to the SAT.

Try your best and good luck guys 🙂 !!

My Spring Break

This spring break just over, we had a great vacation! My friend and I, we went to LA for this spring break, and it was awesome! I like the weather there, it was warm so I can  enjoy the sunshine all the time.

LA is the best place I have ever seen, if I have another opportunity, I am pretty sure I will go there again!

Finally, spring break is over, it’s time to back to Canyonville Christian Academy, can’t wait to see everyone!

Coming up soon Senior Trip!
